Scholarship Award Policies and Details
- Montana eligible student(s) may apply with the Montana Leadership Foundation for a scholarship to any Qualified Education Providers (QEP) of the parent or legal guardian’s choice
- Complete/Submit Montana Leadership Foundation SSO application
- Provide proof of income documentation
- Provide supplemental documents, if required
- Submit SSO application to [email protected] by posted deadline
- Families will be contacted by email verifying eligibility/application status
- Qualified Education Providers will be contacted for eligible student applications submitted to their QEP to complete Montana Leadership Foundation SSO School Agreement for that scholarship year
- Complete/Submit Montana Leadership Foundation SSO application
Qualified Education Providers (QEP) Scholarship Details
- 2025/26
- Proposed scholarship verification email sent to QEP of parent or legal guardian’s choice (as listed on SSO application) detailing eligible student names(s)/proposed scholarship amount
- QEP verifies proposed award amount offered
- Scholarship may not exceed the per-pupil average of total public-school expenditures calculated in section 20-9-570, MCA
- Students eligible to receive scholarships from SSO’s are Montana residents over the age of five on or before September 10, but not older than 19, of the year of attendance at the QEP
- Scholarship is for the school year 2025/26 only. Any unused portion must be returned to the Montana Leadership Foundation
- Scholarship check/list of awarded students issued to QEP
- Award email sent to families detailing name of awarding SSO (Montana Leadership Foundation) and amount awarded
- QEP verifies proposed award amount offered
- Proposed scholarship verification email sent to QEP of parent or legal guardian’s choice (as listed on SSO application) detailing eligible student names(s)/proposed scholarship amount
