School aid

Is your school looking to help students with their tuition needs?

We can help! The Montana Leadership Foundation works with schools throughout the state of Montana. Our list of schools that we work with is always expanding. We welcome new schools to join our program, simply complete the school application form. We will then schedule a school tour with you. After we have determined your school is a qualified school, families can apply for and receive scholarships during application periods. Financial aid is distributed by MLF without regard to race, ethnicity, color, national origin, gender/gender-identity, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.

The Process:

Only QEPs can receive scholarships from SSOs on behalf of eligible students. A QEP is an accredited or nonaccredited private education provider that qualifies for an exemption from compulsory enrollment under sections 20-5-102(2)(e), MCA and 20-5-109, MCA and is not considered a home school under section 20-5-102(2)(e), MCA. QEPs must meet the health and safety requirements for private schools in Montana. Students eligible to receive scholarships from SSOs are Montana residents over the age of five on or before September 10, but not older than 19, of the year of attendance at the QEP.

The Montana Leadership Foundation tours schools and meets with the staff before reaching a conclusion on the qualification of a school. The Montana Leadership Foundation also requires schools are operational for one school year before they are eligible for scholarship funding from our organization.
